Status lights

Four status lights on the front panel display the status of the speaker.

Status

Meaning

One bright white status light is pulsating.

The speaker is starting up.

One yellow status light is pulsating.

Software update is in progress.

Four bright and dim white status lights are sliding in sequence.

The Google Assistant is processing its response.

Four bright and dim white status lights are flashing fast.

The Google Assistant is speaking.

Four status lights are illuminating white.

The Google Assistant is activated and starts listening.

Four bright white status lights are pulsating.

The Google Assistant confirms understanding a request.

Four orange status lights are illuminated.

Microphones are muted.

The Google Assistant is deactivated.

Four bright and dim blue status lights are sliding in sequence.

Bluetooth pairing is activated.

Four bright blue status lights are flashing twice.

A Bluetooth device is paired successfully.

Four bright white status lights are progressing in sequence.

Speaker volume increases or decreases.

Four dim white status lights are flashing fast.

The minimum volume is reached.

Four bright white status lights are flashing fast.

The maximum volume is reached.

One bright white status light is illuminated.

The speaker is in the Airplay WAC setup mode. This allows the speaker to be set up for Airplay on an iOS device. The setup mode is available for 15 minutes, after which time the setup mode is disabled and the status light turns off.

Four bright orange status lights are progressing in sequence. The left status light then turns yellow.

The speaker is reset to factory conditions.
